Election Benchmarks for the the election of the House of Representatives and the district assemblies in Berlin on September 20, 2026
Education on nature, the environment, climate, and sustainability (known as environmental education for short) is organized in Berlin by a large network of environmental education advocates, social service organizations, associations, and initiatives, as well as independent professionals and volunteers.
Since 2019, we—the coordination centers for education on nature, the environment, climate, and sustainability—have been working to connect these learning sites and projects, provide continuing education for stakeholders, and raise the profile of environmental education programs.
With an eye toward the September 2026 elections, we have given political parties the opportunity to share their positions on relevant issues with us and our diverse target groups—including environmental organizations and initiatives, neighborhood centers, science teachers, early childhood educators, extracurricular learning centers, social service agencies, and others.
