1. What makes your district so special?
Marzahn-Hellersdorf is a district of contrasts. On the built-up areas people live close together. In summer, the sun burns mercilessly in the concrete desert. On the numerous, natural and wide green spaces the district offers balance and relaxation for its citizens. The colours of green and gray are part of the district's identity and shape its individual character.
2. Which green and sustainable places does our district have to offer?
Wuhletal, Hönower Weiherkette, Kienbergpark, Biesenhorster Sand, Marzahner Mühle, Gärten der Welt, Kultur Gut, old village centers (Marzahn, Kaulsdorf), Alice Salomon University, Adult Education Center, Environmental Education Center at Kienbergpark
3. Which are the topics that we are most concerned with in the district?
We want to strengthen the importance and awareness of NUK+N education in the district. Therefore, we work together with politicians, the administration, youth recreational facilities, community shelters, citizens' initiatives and neighborhood management. We want to bring green spaces into elementary and high schools as school gardens and also anchor the topic of quality management in NUK+N education. We are broadly positioned and try to advance NUK+N education at every point.
